Position: Computer Teacher

Reporting to : Project Coordinator

Location :  Cisarua  Bogor

Work Condition : Term of 2 month ( 8 July - 6 September)

Effective Date : 15 June 2013

General Function:

Teaching basic computer skills to children refugees  in Cisarua, Indonesia

Specific Job Duties:

Training

• Assess the computer skills of participants
• Develop a 2 month curriculum for teaching basic computer skills
• Conduct computer literacy classes in an interesting and interactive way
• Ensure that the computers and other equipment are maintained and properly cared for

Administrative

• Record and file participant attendance
• Properly document the lesson plans, visual aids and training materials
• Scheduling the classes

Assisting and Reporting

• Submit a monthly progress report to the Project Coordinator
• Assist the Project Coordinator in accessing the training materials
• Communicate with the Project Coordinator about refugee needs

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Agreement with, and adherence to, World Relief’s mission statement, policies, and procedures
• Computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and social media
• Training skills
• Strong Christian witness
• Ability and desire to work with people from various cultural, religious, and social backgrounds
• Independent and flexible
