Urban Sanitation Specialist
A growing consultancy firm is seeking Urban Sanitation Specialist for anticipate activities funded by international NGO in West Sumatra Province.
Urban Sanitation Specialist will responsible for overall management and implementation of the programme. The program will focus on capacity building for sustainable sanitation service delivery in 2 cities in West Sumatra Province. Sanitation service deliverry involves behavioural changes and awareness raising,governance, planning and regulation, business development, private sector involvement as well as safe tratment and disposal.
Qualification and experience:
- Degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering or urban planning
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene), preferably in urban sanitation or related areas with strong focus on planning, regulation and technical matters,
- Proven practical knowledge and experience with small city, non-conventional sanitation systems,
- Excellent team player and facilitation skills
- Have intensive experience working with local government agencies ;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
The urban sanitation specialist will be based on Padang for 24 month full time assignment.
