The University of
Indonesia, supported by Indonesian Ministry of Planning (BAPPENAS) and Columbia University established the Center on Child Protection at the University of Indonesia in December 2009 to contribute to the systematization and professionalizing of the child protection in Indonesia. The Center is comprised of a group of interdisciplinary, cross-institutional faculty and research associates committed to promoting sustainable solutions to complex problems affecting children, their families, and communities.
The Center on Child Protection pursues its goals through three inter-related sets of activities: Research to support systems development, evidenced-based programming and policy change; Training to build the capacity of government officials and civil society practitioners; and Curriculum Support to design a skills-based concentration that prepares future generations of individuals dedicated to improving the well-being of children in Indonesia and beyond.
The Center is currently looking for a part time/output basis IT Consultant:

The Center is currently looking for a part time/output basis IT Consultant:
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Perform all information technology related activities of the Center's office, programs and projects, including periodical maintenance of the Centers IT equipment (desktops, laptops and server), perform defrag and updating anti virus software
- Provide written and spoken consultation on all information technology related activities of the Center's office, programs and projects as required.
- Provide the Center's website maintenance and system support, including maintaining web site subscription, increase platform capacity as necessary, add pages or tabs as required, establish links with CCP’s partner websites, monitor CCP’s website usage, design graphics for website display; select, install, configure, and administer core Web site software (Web servers, FTP servers, media servers, load balancers, DNS, etc.)
- Provide information technology assistance and support to the Center's librarian for the purpose of virtual library development and maintenance.
- Design regular printing needs assessment, new web pages
- Design research report covers for web display and ensure other CCP products are well displayed on the website
Qualification and Competencies
- S1 or D3 degree or equivalent in Information Technology or proven skill and 5 years experience in Information Technology
- Good programming ability (system analysis, coding)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented, organized and strong time management skills
