Yayasan has an excellent opportunity for a Program Manager Spices to strengthen our Spices team. We are looking for a colleague with gravitas, who can operate at the highest level, and can move and shape the spices sector.
The role
You will be based in Jakarta and will report directly to the Program Director of Yayasan. As Program Manager Spices, you will work to refine and improve our partner strategy and execution. You will expand existing partnerships and upscale potential new opportunities. Build leadership alignment at the highest levels with the partners, both at a global as well as at the regional level. You will responsible for the coordination and completion of the spices program on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of programs and well-defined sequence of activities that map out the program progress from start to completion. You will travel to meet with existing and prospective partners and attend relevant networking events and industry-related events promoting sustainability development. You will serve as the technical lead in proposal development, concept notes, investment committee notes, program summaries, and reporting.

You are highly proficient in spoken and written English. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
What you bring
You have an advanced degree in agriculture social science/development studies, strategic/program management, or related field. I have 7+ years of relevant working experience in international organizations/settings. Deep knowledge of international commodity supply chains and sustainable agricultural practices for spices. You are comfortable engaging with senior-level representatives and have networks in agricultural commodity companies as well as in governments and multilateral partners, preferably also collaborating with knowledge institutes and civil society. Experiences in fundraising and developing project proposals and contract management, excel at creating process, and can navigate collaboration with the multi-stakeholder. You have experience in developing and building programs from scratch. Ability and willingness to travel to remote areas in Indonesia.
