WWF Indonesia Job Vacancy: Marine Tourism Officer, Denpasar - Bali

WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Marine Tourism Officer.

This position will be based in Denpasar, Bali and report to Marine Tourism & Ocean Plastic PO Manager. The job holder will provide WWF-Indonesia’s Marine Tourism Program under the Marine & Fisheries Program Directorate works with relevant stakeholders and target corporations to support and implement capacity building programs, program finalization, outreach, promotion and assistance of tourism businesses in the WWF-Indonesia marine tourism working area. The main task carried is to encourage a reduction in the negative footprint of business actors and ultimately business actors are able to make a positive contribution to tourism governance in Indonesia. The Marine Tourism Officer receives direct supervision from the PO Manager of Marine Tourism and Ocean Plastic as well as technical supervision from relevant stakeholders in the area where the work is carried out.

Requirements for This Position are:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Tourism, Communication, Marine Science, Fisheries or other relevant studies.
  • Have working experiences minimum of 2 years in the area of ecotourism, communication, marketing, networking, campaign and or advocacy.
