Who we areThe Muntigunung Community Development Program takes a holistic approach to develop the dry and disadvantaged area of Muntigunung in North East Bali by creating better access to clean water, healthcare, education and employment opportunities for a brighter, sustainable future.
By collaborating with the local communities we create beautiful, high quality handicrafts with the goal to establish independent social enterprises. These provide a regular source of income for the communities and ensures that the families stay in their village and their children can attend school rather than go begging.

We need a Production Manager who can streamline and increase our production. Put your ideas and problem solving skills to good use by joining our team!
The job
- Procurement of raw materials for handicrafts
- Management of handicraft production from start to finish
- Implement and maintain effective quality control
- Streamline production in order to create better efficiency and meet deadlines
- Problem solving and troubleshooting when things don’t go as planned
- Production administration (progress reporting, expense management, budgeting and planning, inventory management)
- Develop the know-how and skills of the artisans
- Other duties as needed
- At least 5 years working experience
- Experience in managing production in a small business (preferably handicrafts)
- Strong leader, able to work goal oriented and meet deadlines independently and in a team
- Proven ability to guide and train team
- Initiative and flexible, able to adapt to new situations
- Culturally aware
- Excellent spoken and written English, Bahasa Indonesia and Balinese (preferable)
- University degree
- Experience in community or business development is an advantage
- Computer literate
- Indonesian national, ideally already living in the Muntigunung area or willing to move to program location or spend at least 3 days a week there.
The production is located in Muntigunung, North Bali
Working hours
- Flexible working hours
- 40 hours per week
