Second Chance foundation, is the first independent NGO in Indonesia focusing on the improvement of inmates’ life quality in all over Indonesia through sustainable training, mentoring and coaching program, and advocating to communities

Second Chance foundation, In Collaboration with Directorate General Correctional Facilities of Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Second Chance implements its vision as most trustable organization that support inmates, assist them to become an independent productive individual and able to live in the society with honor and dignity.

In achieving the above vision, we have five missions in implementing our program:
  • To give a sustainable training, mentoring and coaching program, thus it can create independency from the inmates
  • To give the same opportunity to inmates in this training, mentoring and coaching program
  • To initiate public's involvement in order to prepare integration process when inmates ready to come back to the society
  • To develop harmoniously cooperation with government, private sector and public in the most strategic way
  • To support the development of creative economy inside-out of the correctional facility.
Second Chance is now have a couple opportunities available as Project Officers to be based in Jakarta Office.

Reports to Deputy Director

Responsibility:
  • Under general guidance to implement and ensuring annual target and program planned are implemented in line with the foundation policy.
Duties & Selection Criteria:
  • Actively contributing to the development of annual workplan, revision of workplan and reporting.
  • Implementing approved workplan in line with applicable guidelines and policies
  • Actively maintaining relations and coordinating with key stakeholders and partners as well as other implementing partners,
  • Preparing program documentations which includes but not limited to program budget, agreements, material and program event reports
  • Working with other staff in preparing annual, progress and other reports
  • Managing information/records in the form of hardcopy and softcopy, sharing information to relevant team members such as letters, minutes of meetings of each attended meetings
  • Work with external and internal partners to achieve the program target.
  • Other relevant duties as requested by the supervisor
Selection Criteria:
  • Hold a bachelor degree from reputable University
  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience in NGO.
  • Has a good understanding and passion to work in social project and implementing grant program.
  • Have a good knowledge on research in development program.
  • Have a good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English both speaking and writing is preferred
  • Able to work with others and under pressure
