District Coordinator
(1 based in Bone District and 1 in Wajo District)
Save the Children Indonesia is implementing Child Labour Monitoring & Remediation in South Sulawesi, Indonesia project to ensure child protection through functioning systems that identify, prevent, and remediate child labor and improve children’s safety and well-being in South Sulawesi province. The Project location is in Bone and Wajo District, of South Sulawesi Province
The goal of the project can be achieved through
- To Improve capacity of supply chain communities with effective supply chain child labour due diligence and referral mechanisms.
- Strengthening the capacity of local community in addressing child protection cases in particular child labour.
- Leverage the program impact by increasing the local government’s awareness and support for remediation of child labour.
- This post will support the Project Manager, Child Protection Advisor, campaign & advocacy team and other project team to ensure the high quality of program delivery.
- Bachelor degree in agriculture, economic, social development, or other relevant studies.
- Recommended a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a contractor, corporate, or NGO environment, including significant field implementation experience
- Proven experiences in managing local implementing partner is preferred
- Experience in direct working with children, woman, youth are preferred.
- Working Experience with rural community, particularly in South Sulawesi context is a plus.
- An understanding of children’s issues in Indonesia. This could include deep knowledge in child protection and child labour is preferred.
- Experience working with an international NGO or similar organization.
- Solid project management skills with a proven history of delivering results.
- Ability to analyse information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Fluency in written and spoken Indonesian, strong English written and spoken skills.
- Commitment to and understanding of Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality reports and other project documents in Indonesian and English
