Plan has been implementing program in Indonesia since 1969 through Plan International in the past and now through Plan Indonesia. At the moment, Plan Indonesia is sponsoring more than 36,000 marginalized children in East Nusa Tenggara and benefiting thousands others through at least 40 projects’ implementation in 10 provinces.As YPII will be committed to better understand the varied needs of girls and boys, men and women, and have those needs and suggestion for responding as a core component to any sectors design and implementation. In addition, YPII’s Program will be committed to reaching the most vulnerable families by emphasizing the needs of women and girls. Recognizing that women and girls are vulnerable and disproportionately suffer from various forms of abuse and exploitation, the program will seek to actively engage them in program design, planning, implementation, and monitoring.
To help reach that propose, therefore we are opening 2 (two) Internship program for individuals who are interested in humanitarian and resilience issues through; develop strategic choices for climate changes project, and develop information product.
Internship Program
The Communication and Environmental Science intern will be a part of humanitarian and resilience program team, and learn on how communication and environmental science skills can be applied in non-profit organization.
Period of Internship
Duration of the internship is 3 months from March to Mei 2020.
Requirements
- Indonesian nationals with interest in;
- Communication; writing and/or creating visual content to delivery issue.
- Environmental science; climate changes adaptation issues
- Have basic skills and understanding;
- Communication; creative content creation, including simple graphic design tools, presentation, etc
- Environmental science: climate changes issues in Indonesia, project development, etc
- Fluent in both English and Indonesian
- Able to work individually and within team
- Self-motivated, and self-managing
- Demonstrate a proactive and can-do attitude
- Have good work ethic
- Committed to undergo the internship program for three months
For your active contribution during this unpaid internship program, we will provide:
- A Recommendation letter at the end of internship
- Hands on experience working with Local Non-Government Organization affiliated with International
- Context-learning on regional outlook on the issue of Humanitarian and Resilience

- Daily local transport allowance
