JMK - OXFAM Job Vacancy: Consultant for Mapping & Feasible Sanitation Analysis - Based in Palu

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, and the direction of Senior WASH, the Consultant will be responsible for developing a detailed work plan for Proper Sanitation Mapping and Analysis in order to strengthen the Community-Based Total Sanitation Movement as a component of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene program

Specific Objectives

Developing a detailed strategy for effective implementation of Vulnerable Groups having access to proper sanitation as part of Hygiene Promotion reinforces support from the Community-Based Total Sanitation Movement including:

• Develop a draft work plan and preparation of data collection methodology, design a holistic WASH especially Public Health Promotion and design a strategy to strengthen Community Based Total Sanitation.
• Design and develop a survey method (Kobo Collect / CTO) and monitoring the WASH Infrastructure assessment and encourage practical efforts to support strengthening the STBM Movement in the community
• Coordinate with the MEAL Sector for the data collection process according to the method applied.
• Responsible for the success of the enumerator in the data collection process according to the ToR.

Job Requirements & Qualification

• Bachelor degree, Social Sciences, Environmental Health, Public Health or related fields, (S2 in Public Health is a plus)
• Fluent in Indonesian and English and local languages (expected)
• Minimum of Four – Five years have experience in the WASH field and have run public health programs.
• Have experience and are accustomed in designing Community Based Total Sanitation programs at the community and school level.
• Familiar with community-based programs and participatory program approaches
• Able to coordinate effectively with government organizations, related agencies, INGO, NGOs and understand the mechanism of the coordination path.
• Familiar with SPSS and data analysis and data collection with Geo Data Collect (Kobo collect, CTO and others)
• Demonstrate the ability to work with multi-cultural environments and remote areas.
