Join the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Justice Phase 2 (AIPJ2) team as an Activity Manager- Justice for Women and Girls, and play an integral role responsible for managing the implementation of the justice for women and girls' strategy
This strategy includes the provision of technical assistance for policy and plans to prevent child marriage, to address violence against women, and to ensure families are supported during and after divorce cases. The position-holder will also be heavily involved in the Aceh Initiative on justice for women and girls, a co-operation with the Government of Aceh. About you
You will be a motivated and proactive Activity Manager- Justice for Women and Girls with the right combination of talent, energy and a commitment to technical excellence. You will also have:
- A Bachelor/Master's degree in Law.
- Minimum five years’ experience working on justice/human rights and development issues in Indonesia, with demonstrated career progression.
- Demonstrated experience in building productive and sustainable working partnerships within a professional team and with a variety of stakeholders (donors, Australian and/or partner government, civil society or the private sector), including in the justice sector.
- Excellent writing, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of current policy issues in gender equality, justice/human rights and the ability to support these through to implementation.
