WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Conservation Monitoring &Evaluation Manager. This position will be based in Jakarta and report Conservation Director.
This position serves the Conservation Program under the Program Support Unit. The primary task is to manage performance management fuctions across the Conservation Directorate through consistent application M&E tools. Work closely with the Conservation Program Manager (CPM) of PSU to execute the tasks and with Conservation Science Unit (CSU) to compile the results. The job holder will design plans of M&E strategy along with implementation process and procedures to follow. This position requires to prepare a risk and assumption management oversights.
Among the routine tasks which are done based on donor/network program/project cycles are to:
- Regularly collect and compile performance data and information from each program directorate,
- Analyse the data as part of Conservation Program’s control system and performance management tool,
- Provide a comprehensive report to regular program reporting,
- Consolidate performance information into program dashboard for the consumption of Senior Management Team,and
- Be a WWF representative.
- Master Degree or equivalent from monitoring and evaluation study or related area
- At least 2 years working experiences at leadership level in conservation, environmental or sustainable development
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia with strong presentation skills (written & verbal).
- Strong organizational management and good interpersonal skills with versatile communication skills (presentation, lobbying, public speaking)
- Facilitation skill
- Good understanding of current issues especially having knowledge on environmental and conservation issues in order to be able to effectively promote appreciation of the same to target audiences
- Good understanding on how to promote WWF’s messages to various stakeholders
- Good understanding on how to work with media – including social media
