Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a Member. As Member, Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership.We are currently seeking to fill the following position: Supply Chain Coordinator 1 (one) position based in Palu, Central Sulawesi
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is to offer leadership and management support to the logistics and admin staff in Indonesia Country Officer. The post holder will ensure the compliance to organization's policies and procedures in both emergency and development programing context, implementation of logistics requirement and offer training for both logistics and non - logistics staff. Play important role in Total Inventory Management (TIM) and Key performance Indicator (KPI) to assist senior logistics Manager to realize procurement plan implemented at timely manner and in line with core procurement guideline and organization policies.
In addition, the post holder will also have the following accountabilities:
- Prepare budget forecast for the next month cash projection for logistics department and submitted to finance on monthly basis as requested
- Collaboration with other Logistics Area Coordinator to keep procurement procedure are followed and update other logistics keys elements.
- Assist Supply Chain Manager in managing logistics
Essential
- Minimum diploma degree or University level.
- Logistic management 5 years' experiences working with INGO envirinment within procurement and logistic supply chain national or International.
- Ability to plan and organize a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities in both development and emergency contexts.
- Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies.
- Demonstrated credibility with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Management skills, including the ability to supervise and motivate the team with strong personal value systems.
- Analytical, decision making and planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to coach, mentor, delegate appropriately and provide developmental guidance to supervised staffs.

- Managing and conducting internal audits of admin paper works
- Ability to manage complex and diverse workload and work with tight deadlines.
