Chemonics International Inc., an international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks Indonesian national candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded New Environment Activity in Indonesia. The project seeks to reduce the threats to biodiversity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from land use in Indonesia. The ideal candidates will have a record of successfully implementing USAID-funded biodiversity conservation programs as well as a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. We are seeking qualified short- and long-term specialists for the following positions:

Technical positions:
  1. Biodiversity Conservation Specialist
  2. Forest Governance Specialist
  3. Local Governance Specialist
  4. Capacity Development Specialist
  5. Forest Land Use Specialist
  6. Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist
  7. Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Emission Reduction Specialist
  8. Carbon Accounting Specialist
  9. Private-Public Partnership Specialist
  10. Forestry Private Sector Partnerships Specialist
  11. Conservation Finance Specialist
  12. Supply Chain Specialist
  13. Livelihood Specialist
  14. Community Engagement Specialist
  15. Payment for Ecosystem Services Specialist
  16. Resource Rights, Governance and Policy Reform Specialist
  17. Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
  18. Communications and Outreach Manager
  19. Grants/Subcontracts Manager
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, advanced degree preferred
  • At least seven (7) years professional experience in relevant job function
  • Experience on USAID or other international donor-funded projects preferred
  • Professional fluency in English and Indonesian Bahasa and excellent written and oral communication skills.
