WWF Indonesia Job Vacancy: Protected Area Management Officer - Timika, Papua

WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Protected Area Management Officer. This position will be based in Timika, and report directly to Lorentz Project Executant.

The job holder in the organizational structure the WWF Program in the Lorentz region has the role of a focal point for WWF Indonesia towards the Lorentz National Park protected area program in an effort to improve the management effectiveness of Lorentz National Park (Lorentz National Park) in accordance with the management plan as an effort to achieve management objectives in Lorentz National Park in accordance with policies in Papua Province and contribute to the implementation of joint activities of the Lorentz National Park Office in improving the economy of the community in order to ensure the implementation of sustainable natural resource conservation and utilization projects. 

Requirements for this position are: 
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent from Forestry, Conservation Science, Biology, Environment Management
  • Minimum 2-4 years working experience in forestry or conservation and environment.
