network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for
the position of Social Development Southern East Sulawesi Subseascape (SESS) Officer.
This position will be based in Wakatobi Island, Sulawesi Tenggara and report to Southern East Sulawesi Subseascape (SESS) Project Executant.
Acting
as a focal point for WWF-ID in facilitating the implementation of
communication programs, developing and strengthening the economy and
institutions of coastal communities, building awareness, empowering
communities, encouraging Governance and Government recognition of the
management of coastal natural resources by local communities /
Indigenous Community Conserved Areas and actualize the Wakatobi National
Park as a center of excellent.
Requirements for this Position are:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in the fields of Marine Science, Marine Biology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or other related study.
- 2-4 years work experience in social development, community/society empowerment, or custom society.
- Competent in administrative tasks, participatory mapping, statistics, community development approaches, and communication and presentation with communities, NGOs, and government officials.
- Good English ability in writing and speaking would be an advantage.
- Willing to work in remote area
- Currently reside in Sulawesi area would be preferred.
