Compensation: 30,000 USD + Social Security+ 13th month salary

Christian Aid is working with its partners in Indonesia to respond to humanitarian crisis. Our emergency programmes promote access to just and equitable resources and support the creation of resilient and thriving livelihoods for disaster and crisis affected communities. This role is for ensuring emergency support to the Indonesia earthquake as part of Christian Aid’s emergency programme.
About The role
The purpose of this role is to facilitate the work in Indonesia for earthquake response working with partners. S/he would be responsible for ensuring that CA’s programmes are designed, managed and delivered as per the agreed and committed plans. S/he will be responsible to maintain and manage relationships with ACT Alliance members, DEC agencies and other external donors in Indonesia. S/he will be providing coordination support on engagement with ACT forum and DEC agencies in Indonesia. S/he would be ensuing that the CA partners are provided with appropriate capacity support as and when identified in close collaboration with line management.
About you
We are looking forward to a candidate with;
Bachelors in Social Sciences, administration or related field; Minimum Eight years of experience in the field of Humanitarian Response (HR), recovery and reconstruction, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change adaptation (CCA); Able to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, experience and practice of humanitarian values and principles and able to motivate others to achieve results in complex situations without much supervision; Good skills on context analysis, damage assessment and needs analysis; data analysis and interpretation; Good project development and report writing skill; Good spoken and written English; Effective verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
Relevant post graduate degree in development or humanitarian subject; Knowledge of the political, social and economic context of in general Indonesia. Demonstrated experience of coordinating an Alliance/Confederations/Consortium etc. will be treated as added qualification.
