General description of the position
Under the supervision of the Country Coordinator, you will be responsible to contribute in providing technical assistance by supporting the implementation of the Health System Strengthening (HSS) planning phase and by designing program approaches for future program development.Main responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the Program Manager and the team to ensure appropriate implementation in Remaining steps of HSS process
- Provide technical assistance for the health team to improve technical skills in terms of HSS implementation.
- Training on HSS to Health Team and HSS committee
- Provide technical assistance for the HSS team in conducting Workshop of Risk and Capacity Analyses
- Develop a control system to ensure a good implementation of HR procedures based on HR building blocks.
- Maintain a constructive collaboration with all health team, staffs and all local partner’s staffs
- Study and analyze the diagnoses report of HSS
- Study and analyses the result and identifying the strengths and weakness of the system
- Writing the HSS report for dissemination and external communication
- Write a report for the health team on main barriers and main recommendations to improve the program quality
- Submit a report on study and analysis on HSS and an M&E plan with the tools
- Reports any problems or constraints faced during the implementation of the activities
- You hold a Master degree in Public Health, Medicine or Nursing with 5 years minimum of professional experience and 2 years prior experience in a similar position. You are recognized for your technical expertise in HSS and the ability to provide technical support. You have as well strong skills in capacity-building development.
- Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and representation skills are required thus team management experience.
- Your English is fluent (spoken and written).
Status: Employee
Contract: 2 months fix term contract under French legislation
Remuneration and benefits:
- Monthly gross salary from €1805 to €2305 upon experience.
- Per diem and living allowance: 564 € (cf euro cost) net, field paid.
- 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizens.
- Child allowance, limited to 5 children.
- Coverage of transportation costs to and in the mission.
