Save The Children Job Vacancy: Field Manager - Greater Jakarta, North Jakarta

Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik partner of Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better.  We've begun to build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik.  To this end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Currently Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

FIELD MANAGER GREATER JAKARTA
1 position, based in  North Jakarta
Code : FM-GJ

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Field Manager will be accountable for all activities of YSTC – Save the Children under Greater Jakarta Field Office. Thematic programing in Greater Jakarta Field Office consists of education, DRR, Child Poverty-ASST, and child protection programing. Programme implementation duties will include ensuring all program activities are implemented according to plan and at a high-level of quality; all reporting and planning is completed in a timely manner and at a high-quality; all communications are completed in a timely and accurate manner; effective coordination with key external stakeholders; child safeguarding controls are enforced; and financial and administrative management adheres to YSTC – Save the Children and donors policies, regulations, and good practices.

The Field Manager will also ensure we advocate with key government stakeholders to achieve positive change using evidence from our program work as the basis. S/he will represent YSTC in Greater Jakarta and support program development and emergency preparedness and response. The position will require travel to field locations and support for hosting donor visits.

The post holder will contribute on the achievement of all the global KPIs on Operations Delivery (KPIs 1-5), some of the KPIs on Awards management (KPIs 6 & 7) and all Risk and financial management KPIs in relation to the North Jakarta program.

In addition, the post holder will also have the following accountabilities:
  • Contribute to the development of strong relationships with the Board, donors, international agencies and local NGO/civil society organisations.
  • Represent YSTC (the Foundation), when necessary with external stakeholders and parties.
