AgriProFocus is an international network that promotes farmer entrepreneurship. It offers a space (online and offline) for organisations, professionals, and agri-businesses to meet, do business and share resources and knowledge. AgriProFocus is active in Africa (12 countries), Indonesia, Myanmar and in the Netherlands. AgriProFocus has work in Indonesia since October 2013, and is hosted by Hivos. AgriProFocus seeks qualified Indonesian candidates for the position of:
Title: Country Network Assistant for Administration, Communication and Marketing
Duty Station: Jakarta, Indonesia.
Duration: 1 (one) year
Report to: AgriProFocus Country Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities
The Network Assistant will implement the activities of AgriProFocus Country Network that focuses on network development, communication and implementation of Linking, Learing , and Leadership (LLL) activities.
Network vitality
- Mapping stakeholders for relevant themes;
- Stimulating synergy and exchange between the members around their initiatives;
- Assist the operations of the online platform by inviting members to contribute, publishing articles, updating company profiles, facilitate debate and learning discussions;
- Promote the network among national stakeholders;
- Assist the management of the AgriProFocus social media pages (Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Twitter, Yammer);
- Publish monthly e-Newsletters;
- Participating in the development of the fact sheets and other PR materials;
- Data entry member registration, SMS-services and business linkages;
- Assist in the development of ToRs and MoUs for service providers and partners;
- Assist in organizing networking events;
- Assist the Network Facilitator in Monitoring and Evaluation reporting;
- Assist in the implementation of the marketing strategy of AgriProFocus Country;
- Participate in and contributing to committee meetings and processing the meetings’ minutes;
- Assist in administrations tasks at Country Level.
- Liaise with communication department and where relevant other staff at the global secretariat
Any other duties assigned by the Country Coordinator
Knowledge and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in agribusiness, rural development studies, agricultural economics and other related fields;
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in the fields of agri business networking organization, familiar with business linking, learning and leadership, familiar with AgriFood sector trends;
- Having strong network with agribusiness companies and NGO.
- Representation and networking;
- Ability to work independently.

- Organizational talent;
- Excellent reporting and writing skills;
- Strong prior experience working in the field of agribusiness, with networking behavior, skills and experience;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to managing online platforms and Social media
- Good command of English language.
