As member of the External Relations Department, the Media Relations Manager leads communications to the media, and cultivates and manages relationships with media stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Holds minimum a Bachelor Degree in journalism, communications, marketing and other related fields.
- Working experience as a journalist is an advantage
- Experienced in writing press releases, media relations, and organising media events
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (speaking and writing).
- Highly dynamic, responsible and full of initiative.
- Hard worker with good interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize task and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media in line with CIPS targets
- Cultivate and enhance relationships with media editors, journalists, and members of the PR professional network
- Composes press releases and other press documents for the media.
