The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.  In Indonesia, TNC has been supporting improved natural resource planning and management for 25 years, including working with government, private sector, and local communities. We currently have the following internship opportunity:

WRITER-INTERNSHIP

The intern will assist the Marketing and Communications team in putting ideas or information into words and turning them into marketing and communications materials.  This internship opportunity provides insight into our communications efforts as relates to nature conservation.

Job Description

  • Write for the following: blog, internal and external communication, op-ed, letters, etc.
  • Prepare communication material for special events/trips.
  • Support other tasks as may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree on or currently studying a subject related to natural resource management, agriculture, forestry or communications
  • Able to put ideas, information and experiences into words. 
  • Has exceptional writing skills with a portfolio of writing products.
  • Outstanding research skills.
  • Creative with a thirst to learn.
  • Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion and knowledge about conservation/biodiversity/environmental issues.
  • Pleasant personality (friendly, team player, quick learner and willing to take on a variety of tasks)
