The ENVISION Project managed by RTI International is seeking highly qualified Indonesian candidates for the position of:
Field Survey Coordinator to be responsible for providing support for a large number and variety of epidemiological surveys to track the status of specific Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) endemic in Indonesia and to evaluate the impact of the annual mass drug treatments organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. This officer will also be responsible for assisting with the management of the comprehensive project data base and fulfilling extensive reporting requirements for the project; as well as providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Health on the management of their NTD data base.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Public Health or related field, with 3-5 years working experience on survey design, implementation and evaluation. In-depth knowledge of statistics, survey methodologies and epidemiology is required. Proven experience in working collaboratively with Indonesian government units at all levels is also preferred. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to successfully work within a team, have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple, high pressure activities. The candidate must also be fluent in English and have strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse professional and social backgrounds with a service oriented attitude. Considerable travel up to 50% time will be required.
