JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER (PM)

BASE: PIDIE JAYA DISTRICT-ACEH
BACKGROUND
CII responding the impact of Pidie Jaya district – Aceh Province by distributing basic hygiene kits to the community. Two area targeted are Trienggadeng and Bandar Baru sub districts. Further need for this area, CII is planning to fill the gap by providing clean water to the affected peoples in the area of those sub districts, more hygiene kits and deliver good hygiene promotion.
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overall project management in good coordination with partners, governments and communities in Pidie Jaya district. The PM ensures that implementation strategies result in maximum impact and sustainability, that timely implementation of activities and quality results are achieved, and that donor and CARE Indonesia policies and procedures are adhered to.
The PM is also responsible to ensure transfer of knowledge on WASH in partner and community level and will ensure partner on the implementation of capacity building strategy. She/he identifies knowledge gap, develops capacity building strategy and supervises partner implementation of trainings for local government and trainings in communities.
The PM oversees the overall technical and operational strategies of the project ensuring programmatic integration of different WASH projects i.e. gender. She/he plays a leadership role in developing implementation timelines and tools required for project interventions. She/he develops and manages the project overall budgets and reports to EPRM on project progress. The PM must ensure that community-based activities and government level advocacy activities are complementary and well-targeted.
SUPERVISES
She/he will works closely work with CII partner in Pidie Jaya district and She/he will coordinate with Project Coordinator, WASH Specialist, Hygiene Promotion Specialist and Distribution Officer that will be exist in partner structure for this project intervention.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required:
- A University degree in a related field to education, public health Socio-Economic Development, Social Policy, Gender studies etc.
Required:
Technical skills
- 3 years successful record in Project Management at middle to senior level.
- 2-3 years of specialized experience working with civil society organizations and/or advocacy efforts.
- Experience of working on issues related to WASH in community level.
- Experience of working with national/local partner.
- Familiarity with a diverse number of cross-cutting themes such as rights based programming, networking, gender integration and policy advocacy.
