MAMPU Media Monitoring Service
The MAMPU program aims to improve the access of poor women in Indonesia to basic services and better livelihood by strengthening women’s and gender-interested organisations and parliamentarians in order to influence government policies and services. The program will support a selection of national and sub-national women’s and gender-interested organisations and their local partners to forge coalitions with others within the public and private sectors. Working through multi-stakeholder processes, the organisations will analyse constraints, identify and test solutions, work with the media, and use an evidence base to advocate for change.
Media monitoring is well known in Public Relations as a mass media monitoring activity to get basic information, feedback on disseminated information, and public opinion through published news or articles. One of the well known method is media clipping. Based on the media clipping’s result, a quantitative or qualitative analysis can be summarised which can contribute for a decision making process.
MAMPU is looking for a high calibre Service Provider who can provide integrated media monitoring service. The service includes; summary of media clipping, quantitative information (journalist’s name, tonality of news, news trend), monthly qualitative report, web interface (access to news archives), and link to local media within MAMPU’s working area.
