About NDI:
We are an award-winning non-profit social enterprise founded in
Singapore, with an office in Jakarta and Bali. 1 out of 3 Indonesians do
not have access to a clean, safe and affordable source of light. Many
rural women also do not have meaningful job opportunities. Our aim is to
end energy poverty in rural Indonesia through women empowerment and
technology via our awardwinning Ibu Rumah Terang Program (Mothers of
Light Program). Our Mothers of Light have so far benefited over 16,000
rural beneficiaries across 30 villages in Indonesia with solar lights.
At NDI, we do "non-profit" differently. We value innovative thinking
coupled with the spirit of being able to "get things done"; the use of
technology and a business-like mindset to ensure that we are delivering
the greatest impact in a sustainable, measurable and efficient manner.
As such, our team does not only work on the Mothers of Light program in
the villages, but are actively involved in PR, social media strategy,
marketing, designing better processes such as mobile reporting systems,
and special projects under the NDI Ideas Lab.We are an award-winning
