The Program
Australia Awards Indonesia is managed by Coffey on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The goal of Australia Awards Indonesia is that: Indonesia’s development is enhanced by the contribution of internationally qualified professionals and a strong and positive relationship with Australia. This will contribute across the whole scope of the Australia Indonesia Partnership, including its goal to work in partnership with Indonesia to achieve a more prosperous, safe and democratic Indonesia.

Short Term Awards are a capacity building tool to meet AAI outcomes of developing participants’ knowledge, skills and attitudes to contribute positively in their professional fields and communities, to develop links with Australians, Australian organisations, other alumni and agencies in Indonesia as well as to ensure that the participants view Australia in a positive light.

To contribute to the AAI program, Coffey is currently seeking applications for a Short Term Awards Coordinator.

The Position
Short Course Coordinator – Job No 493478
The Short term Awards Coordinator will work under the direction of the Short Course Manager to ensure quality of delivery of Australia Awards Short Course. The Short Course Coordinator may include contributing to all phases of the short course cycle, from stakeholder consultation, identification of opportunities, providing input to course designs, developing course workplans and budgets, supporting the administration of tenders.

The Person
To be considered for this role you should have demonstrated experience in project management in an International development context, having experience in planning and budgeting processes and experience in consulting and negotiating with team members and other stakeholders. The person needs to demonstrate skill on reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and in research, analysis and synthesis of information.
