WWF-ID will start new challenging project named RIMBA,
and currently seeking for the best candidate to fill the position of: RIMBA
Project – Communication Coordinator based in Jambi (Central Sumatera) and report directly
to Project Team Leader
RIMBA Communication Coordinator responsible
to ensure an integrated communications strategy for RIMBA Project is well
implemented in order to achieve the program’s objectives. Designing
communications strategy for RIMBA’s Program’s campaigns or activities in close
consultation and coordination with RIMBA’s project coordinator to support the
program’s targets and policy reform at the appropriate local, national, and
international levels. Assisting
RIMBA’s project coordinator with the development of lobby, advocacy and
communications tools, such as reports, position paper, program/project updates,
and create awareness and profiling of RIMBA’s project.
Requirements
- Social and Political Science, Communication Studies at least Bachelor degree.
- Having experience in Public Communication, at least 5 years
- Having good track record of success in developing communication and campaign strategy .
Proven ability to handle media and
produce high-quality communications products
Competencies:
Fluent in English – oral and written; Strong
writing skills; has a good understanding
of general environmental and sustainable development issues (specifically
biodiversity issues related to forests and species conservation and other
relevant issues) - good understanding of how to promote RIMBA’s messages to various
stakeholders - good understanding on how to work with media – including social
media - Microsoft office - Ability to design software is a plus.

Excellent inter-personal communications skill,
ability to working with team, easy to adapt to field situation - Independent,
Intelligent and able to think strategically - Highly capable to influence and
impact on decision makers - A constant learner and able to cope productively in
varying conditions – even contrasting conditions - Pleasant and able to
