The Australia Awards Indonesia, Coffey is currently seeking applications
for a Social Media Coordinator, a fulltime position to be based in
Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Program
Australia Awards Indonesia is managed by Coffey on behalf of the
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The goal of Australia
Awards Indonesia is that: Indonesia's development is enhanced by the
contribution of internationally qualified professionals and a strong and
positive relationship with Australia. This will contribute across the
whole scope of the Australia Indonesia Partnership, including its goal
to work in partnership with Indonesia to achieve a more prosperous, safe
and democratic Indonesia. The program is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Position
The Social Media Coordinator (SMC) will be responsible for effective,
efficient and targeted communications and promotions with Australia
Awards alumni and full-fee paying Australian alumni, as well as
Australia Awards' key stakeholders to support the objectives of the DFAT
development cooperation program in Indonesia.
Working under the supervision of the Communications and Promotions
Manager (CPM), and as part of a broader team that combines personnel
working in the areas of alumni, communications and promotions, the SMC
will work on management oversight of social media channels and online
communities, Develop of innovative and creative media content across
Embassy and alumni global and country specific social media platforms.
The post holder will strengthening Australia Awards in Indonesia's
branding in a consistent way, aligned to Coffey and DFAT communications
guidelines.
The Person
To be considered for this role you should have equivalent combination of
education, experience and training that provides the required
knowledge, skills and abilities. Those who are having undergraduate
degree in communications, translation or journalism will be considered. A
minimum five years' experience in website, social media marketing and
digital content development and management are truly needed, a proven
experience in designing and running successful campaigns for various
social media platforms.
You should have the ability to manage and operate generic computer packages, website and social networking platforms. Having a sophisticated understanding and operation of internet and multimedia technologies and a keen eye for visual design and lay-out. You need to have excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence and stay abreast of the current development issues and communications trends.
