Plan International Job Vacancy: Child Centered Climate Change Adaptation Project Manager - Jakarta

Due to organizational new Project,  Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:

Child Centered Climate Change Adaptation Project Manager - Jakarta

Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of Position:
Key Result Area (KRA) 1:  Leads the process of developing/ develop implementation plan of 4CA projects with detail activities, operational processes and budget for field level implementation. (R1)

Indicator for success:
  • Manage planning with Partners including selection of Partners (scan), partner agreements, implementation plans, etc. (T1)
  • Develop logframe, workplan and annual budgeting of 4CA Project (T2)
  • Create budget planning into SAP system including provide regularly update/progress report (T3)
  • Represent Plan Indonesia in any national/international Climate Change forum as well as in  a network meetings  (T4)
  • To provide technical support in project implementation such as technical advice for DRM Officer in 2 PUs and  to support PU Managers (PUM) to supervise them. (T6)
  • Provide technical support to advocacy officer in developing advocacy strategy in order to met with project objective. (T7).
  • Strengthen network and collaboration among multistakeholder at national and local level in promoting climate change adaptation issue. (T8)
KRA 2 Ensures development of M&E framework of 4CA projects to support comprehensive and quality monitoring of the project performance following corporate guide line of Plan and donor agencies. (R2)

Indicators for success:
  • To design monitoring framework to ensure the achievement of the program aligned with the corporate requirement in collaboration with MRE department. (T9).
  • Monitor progress of partners and PUs in the implementation of projects through quarterly reporting and site visits. (T10)
  • Close cooperation with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to measure the progress and overall achievement of project implementation including in preparing report document. (T11)
  • Close coordination with Grant Accountant Manager and finance manager in monitoring of budget expenditures in SAP system and preparing the financial report prior to submitted to donor. (T12)
  • Monitoring of budget expenditure including budget modification if needed and met with standard and requirement as clearly stated into contract agreement with donor. (T13)
  • Ensures that all learning of 4CA project implementation is documented and shared within Plan Indonesia. (T14).
KRA 3: Build Plan capacity in climate change adaptation 
Indicators for success:
  • Leading capacity development of 4CA project team in Plan International Indonesia in understanding and implementing Plan climate change adaptation  project. (T15)
  • Leading capacity development of local implementing partner who responsible to implement 4CA Project. (T16)
  • Strengthen network and building relationship among multistakeholder at national and local level in promoting climate change adaptation issue especially the National Disaster Management Agency and relevant Ministries/Departments at the national level. (T17)
KRA 4: Establishes quality donor reporting system for grants projects by providing guidance, setting protocols and building capacity of the relevant project staff. (R3) 
Indicators for success:
  • To prepare thematic quarterly, semester, and annual program reports for internals and externals (government, public). (T18)
  • Support Communication and MRE department, in documenting of all related program implementation and best practices . (T19)
KRA 5: Others
Indicators for success:
  • Close coordination with communication team in developing and review kinds of IEC material related to climate change adaptation issue. (T20)
  • Coordination and communication with point person from Plan Regional Office (ARO) and Plan National Office as well as communication with donor representative who responsible to manage the 4CA project.(T21)
  • Support the Grants department and DRM program manager in developing grant proposal . (T22)
  • Contribute the development of CSP DRM (T23)
Requirements:
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree (S-1) related fields.
  • 3 (Three) years project management experience preferably in Experience in managing disaster related field will be an advantage, Experience in representational roles, Experience in promoting and developing learning in the area of expertise, Demonstrated experience working with local governments, Experience developing and writing proposals and reporting, Good knowledge and skills: Communication skills, analytical and conceptual thinking, Building and managing teams, networking, leadership, crisis management, human resource management, problem solving, negotiation skills
  • Fluent both Indonesia and English (oral and written)
Range Salary : IDR 11 550 000 – 16 500 000,-
