global network of WWF. WWF-ID are currently seeking for the best 
candidates for the position of: 
Fisheries Business Officer 
This position  will be based in Wakatobi and report to Responsible 
Marine Business Coordinator. The job holder will be responsible to 
provide operational support to WWF Indonesia in unit MPA for fisheries 
in Wakatobi, working and designing pathway to ensure significant 
increase of contribution from WWF Indonesia to decrease the ecological 
footprint in the region, enhance the role of the fisheries sector, 
especially to support sustainable and responsible fisheries, to support 
the agenda of marine resources conservation based; As well as providing 
technical support to related parties, among others; Local governments, 
public forums, traditional institutions, ecotourism business 
organizations, fishing businesses and universities.
These efforts are 
done in order to develop a sustainable and responsible fishing business 
and encourage the creation of conducive policy in Wakatobi, as targeted 
in the WWF Indonesia Coral Triangle program strategic plan.
Requirements for This Position are:
- Bachelor degree in social sciences, marine/fisheries sciences and other related major
 - 2-4 years experience wotking with community, NGO and government
 - Experience on Market research and managing fisheries products is an advantage
 - Having experience in facilitating local business’ fisheries products and fish breeding would be desired
 - Able to communicate and organize common interest among stakeholders
