Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Durable Solutions Officer and the overall supervision of the Senior Protection Officer, the incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities:

- Interview refugees to prepare Resettlement Registration Forms (RRFs) for submission to the Associate Durable Solutions Officer to facilitate resettlement consideration by States;
- Assist in the coordination of resettlement country interview mission planning;
- Provide counselling to Persons of Concern (PoCs) with regard to the process and procedures for durable solutions;
- Compile monthly inputs on activities including statistics of PoCs relating to durable solutions and maintain statistical records and files;
- Assist in the repatriation process, where applicable, by identifying and registering PoCs who wish to repatriate voluntarily;
- Conduct visits to immigration detention centres and other accommodation facilities hosting refugees to provide counselling on durable solutions, as required;
- Undertake missions throughout Indonesia to conduct durable solutions activities;
- Draft routine correspondence and reports;
- Liaise with the authorities and operational partners to obtain information and statistics and to facilitate formalities relating to durable solution;
- Act as interpreter and translator when required;
- Perform other duties as required.
