and committed candidate to fill the following position:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The DRR Project Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining all project; needs assessment, implementation, include facilitate the community in all project activities as stated in the proposal.
- The program Officer is required to build relationships with key stakeholders (Government, Non- Governmental Organizations, private sector and other important stakeholder in village and district level).
- During periods project implementation, the Program Officer engages in project as stated in the proposal, include facilitate training and capacity building, networking with. The position holder will also facilitate and promote partnership with potentials partners.
- Ensure proper assessment, planning and implementation of selected project components, in coordination with Java Coordinator on the ground.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to use limited resources effectively, conducting risk analysis and applying measures to adjust plans and resources effectively.
- Experience with different aspects of project management including development, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Ensure that all activities conducted using the guidelines, policies, standards and operating imperatives of Muslim Aid Indonesia.
- Maintain monitoring system in coordination with Java Coordinator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Minimum Education, Training and Experience to Qualify for the Position:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Science or related field.
- Proven track record for disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) in the village and district level. At least 2 years experienced in DRR and CCA implementation in the grass roots level.
- Empirical knowledge of project administration, design and facilitate the training/ capacity building, facilitate the community, report writing and publication.
- Experience in knowledge of rapid assessment and ongoing contextual analysis in particular about DRR and climate impact.
- Self-awareness, cultural sensitivity, flexibility and adaptability, resilience
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, capabilities and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal & team building skills and excellence as a team player
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent computer skill (Ms Office, managing databases, etc…)
- Ensures personal verbal communication is clear and convincing, communicates persuasively to all stakeholders
- Demonstrates personal integrity and trustworthiness.
- Actively maintains current humanitarian practice knowledge
- Builds and maintains strong relationship
- Cooperates well with other team member
