Project Overview
Geotwo Technology, Co.Ltd is a Korean fast growing IT company, currently
conducting The Project of Construction of Spatial Database System on North Coast
of Java Island, Indonesia. It’s an cooperation project between The Government
of Republic of Indonesia and The Government of Republic of Korea. The project
fully financed by The Government of Republic of Korea through KOICA (Korea
International Cooperation Agency). Major stakeholders from Indonesian side
for the project are Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) dan Kementerian
Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (Bappenas).
One of the project objective is Development of Coastal Management and
Decision Support System. Which consist of 3 (three) components, which are:
- Coastal Management Decision Support System;
- Coastal Spatial Data Management System; and
- Disaster Damage Analysis Prediction System.
To fulfill mentioned objective, Geotwo need competent persons to fill the
position of:
- Java Web Programmer cum Web Designer (1 person); and
- Web Designer (1 person).
Job Description
a.
General Information:
- Position Title : Java Web Programmer cum Web Developer
- Period of Performance : 6~7 months (start immediately and will be complete by end of February 2016)
- Work Location : Sentul City, Bogor, West Java; with frequent trip to BIG’s office in Cibinong, Bogor.
- Working Hours : 09.00 ~ 18.00; Monday to Friday.
- Candidate currently domicile in Bogor Area are preferred.
b.
Competencies
- Minimum 2 years experience on WAS (Tomcat) Web application development using Java/JSP based languange program.
- Have experience on Spring Framework
- Have experience on Jquery
- Technical Knowledge : JAVA/JSP, Oracle and The Spring Framework, CSS, HTML, jquery.
- Knowledge on GIS will be highly appreciated.
- Experience on Open Layers development will be highly appreciated.
- Standard capability in writing and communicate in English will be preferable.
c.
Job Description
- Assist and help Korean experts team in developing Coastal Management and Decision Support System.
- Assist and help Korean experts team during meeting, discussion, and consultation with Indonesian counterparts (such as, BIG, Bappenas, etc.).
- Perform function as trainer, during workshop and training events. These workshop and training events will address Indonesia counterparts employees, with objectives to pass on knowledge and capability on operating, maintain, and up date the system.
