WWF Indonesia vacancy: Marine Biodiversity Conservation Officer (Paloh & Pontianak)

WWF Indonesia are currently seeking a qualified, experienced candidate, who has reputable qualifications for: Marine Biodiversity Conservation Officer – Kalimantan which will be based in Paloh dan Pontianak and report to West Kalimantan Program Manager.

This position is responsible to Develop a policy-based research program in the sector of maritime Biodiversity (coastal ecosystems, marine and coastal aquatic species) in the region of Borneo. This policy base research program shall be done in the most comprehensive way which includes upstream to downstream issues, with a focus - but not limited - in particularly Paloh region and other coastal and marine areas in West Kalimantan
The results of these studies shall be used as a basis for providing input to the Kalimantan and West Kalimantan Regional Leader particularly the Program Manager and implement necessary actions to address issues concerning the threat to the coastal and marine ecosystems and biological diversity management.

Requirements for This Position are:
  • Min. Bachelor Degree from Marine Science, Fisheries, Biology, or Environmental Sciences
  • Minimum 2-4 years experiences in conservation of aquatic, marine and coastal species
