Title:  Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) Assistant Level: GS-4 (General Service Category) Type of Contract: Fixed-Term, IDS16025 Duty Station:         Jakarta
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the broad oversight of PSFR Specialist (NOC), the position reports to the Donor Relations Officer (NOA) with responsibility for coordination of work for the various staff within PFP. The role of this post is to support the growth in income from individual donors, by entering donor data in standard Donor Management system, handling donor queries and processing their donations as per established quality and time standards.
  1. Under broad guidance of the supervisor, perform data entry of donor details in the standard Donor Management system used by the office e.g. Donor Perfect as per established quality and time standards.
  2. Respond to daily donor queries on cancellation, up/downgrade etc. of donations or donor details; escalate queries beyond prescribed types to supervisor.
  3. Under supervision of Donor Relations Officer (NOA), support the PSFR Assistant (GS6, IMIS 63228) to perform donation processing (submission to the bank etc.)
  4. Provide basic reports both system generated or developed manually related to donor management and as required by the supervisor. Assist the supervisor in monitoring the Country Office budget for Individual Fundraising as well as compiling UNICEF reports as required.
  5. Undertakes any other duties assigned by the supervisor
PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Completion of secondary education. Knowledge of marketing and PSFR, training in the administrative/ clerical field desirable.
  • At least four (4) years of administrative/clerical experience in the field of sales/marketing/fundraising or related fields office support work experience.
  • Computer literacy and the ability to effectively use standard office software tools and other office technology to create documentation, exchange and archive e-mail, and maintain electronic filing systems.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to extract and format data and to solve operational problems. Ability to organize own and others work, set priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to organize meetings and events. Ability to handle work quickly and accurately under time constraints
  • Experience in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written) is required
