The Indonesia Political Finance Expert will assist in convening a discussion among political parties and civil society partners on money in politics in Indonesia. The Consultant will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Consultant will meet with relevant stakeholders, prepare a briefing paper on political finance issues in Indonesia, lead a roundtable on political finance and draft a summary report on roundtable discussions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft a background briefing paper on the status of political finance in Indonesia, including status of the current legal framework and an overview of past efforts;
- Meet with Indonesia-based partner organization(s) to reenergize previous discussions on political finance (money in politics) in Indonesia dating back to 2012;
- Coordinate with stakeholders to convene political parties and civil society partners for a roundtable on money in politics; and
- Prepare a brief report summarizing the roundtable discussions and recommended next steps.
- 10+ years’ experience working on political finance in Indonesia;
- Familiarity and existing relationships with political finance stakeholders, particularly political parties;
- Previous experience convening roundtables;
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
