Consultant for Market Assessment in Sukabumi & Garut for
Strengthened Civil Society & Inclusive and Empowered Youth in West
Java Project
This action addresses the trade
and investment sector as it engages stakeholders to counter the
unattractive labour market conditions, a factor hampering trade and
investment according to the World Bank in a number of regions in
Indonesia, including West
Java. The action will focus on strengthening local Community based
Organization (CBO) (including youth representatives) to engage and
influence district and provincial level government and private sector
actors to create access to and allocate budget for market
driven business, Technical and Vocational Education and Training
(BTVET), apprenticeship and decent work opportunities for youth.
This
will result in sustainable youth-inclusive, pro-poor development and
fighting poverty for poor or near poor households, improving
local governance and pro poor service delivery, as well as empowering a
youth-inclusive civil society to participate effectively in policy
dialogue and decision making processes contributing to an improved
investment climate.
General Purpose of this activity
is to give input and understanding of any market relevant skills
training, counseling and linkages to internship/job and self employment
opportunities to develop a strategy that focusses efforts towards
developing deep expertize
and networks within these sectors would be a high impact way to achieve
both quality and scale for CREATIVE project in Sukabumi and Garut.
