The Nature Conservancy Indonesia Program is currently offering the following internship opportunity:
1. PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Location: Jakarta Office
The
Proposal Development Intern will assist the External Affairs
team with all aspects of proposals and fundraising collaterals
development including potential donors/partners profiling and database
management. The database will ultimately serve to enhance the
information dissemination efforts of fundraising initiatives.
The work includes but is not limited to collecting and compiling all
relevant data; scanning, screening, cataloging and monitoring all needed
materials, to produce quality and timely fundraising collaterals,
concept notes, and proposals. In return, the intern
will have the opportunity to learn about The Nature Conservancy
Indonesia Program.
Qualifications:
- Completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in natural sciences and social sciences with some previous internship experience in related fields.
- Excellent working knowledge of written and spoken English and Indonesian.
- Good writing and translation skills.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Computer literacy and graphic design skills.
- Quick learner and easily adapts to the work environment.
- Pleasant personality (friendly, team player, creative with an interest in taking on a variety of tasks).
- Interest in conservation/biodiversity/environmental issues.
2.
COMMUNICATION INTERN
Location: Jakarta Office
Reporting to the Communications Manager,
the intern will:
- Prepare communication material for events and special trips
- Support in organizing events (environmental days, VIP trip, etc.) and meetings
- Support media monitoring and clipping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree on, or currently studying communications or other subject
- Interested in conservation/biodiversity/ environmental issues
- Ability to sell ideas to a wide variety of people and groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public-speaking skills
- Excellent organizational and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated experience in MS Office, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with Page maker, Adobe Photoshop or related program for media artwork
- Ability to organize time and manage diverse activities. Meet deadlines.
3. PUBLICATION INTERN
Location: Jakarta Office
Reporting to the Publication Manager, the intern will:
- Prepare poster, movie, merchandise, and other communication media for TNC publication
- Design and manage TNC html-based newsletter
- Detail the book, leaflet, or collateral layout
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree on graphic design
- Ability to realize the ideas to develop the communication media related to conservation
- Highly ability to visualized the ideas
- Demonstrated experience in MS Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Dreamweaver & HTML or related program for media artwork
- Ability to organize time and manage diverse activities. Meet deadlines.
