International, a leading international development consulting firm based
in Washington, D.C., is seeking Indonesian national candidates for the
anticipated USAID-funded Indonesia Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim dan
Ketangguhan (APIK) project in Indonesia.
The $18-20 million, five-year
project will aim to improve climate and disaster resilience in Indonesia
by supporting the government at the local, district, and provincial,
and national levels, working directly with communities and the private
sectors, and helping key stakeholders to develop, disseminate, and
better utilize climate change information.
The ideal candidates will
have a record of successfully implementing donor-funded climate change
adaptation and disaster risk reduction and planning programs as well as a
passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the
world.
We are seeking qualified short- and long-term specialists for the following technical areas:
- Private Sector Engagement
- Climate Information Services
- Government Strengthening
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Climate Vulnerability and Disaster Risk Assessment
- Watershed Management, Urban and Coastal Development
- Community Development & Community Based Approaches, Livelihoods, and EngagementAdaptation Finance
- Geographic Information Systems
- Communication, Outreach and Knowledge Management
- Gender Integration
- Environmental Compliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, advanced degree preferred.
At least five to seven (5-7) years professional experience in relevant technical field - Experience on USAID or other international donor-funded projects preferred
- Professional fluency in English and Indonesian and excellent written and oral communication skills.
