Human Resources Manager
AIP-PRISMA is an agricultural development program which follows a Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach and will contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for 300,000 poor rural female and male farmers. Its objective is to increase competitiveness of poor female and male farmers. It will work in a range of sub-sectors in collaboration with farmers, businesses, government and civil society partners to increased competitiveness of poor male and female farmers through (i) increased productivity; (ii) improved business performance; (iii) a growing share of an expanding market; and (iv) the continuous adoption of innovations that contribute to productivity, performance, and market growth. The project will work in five (5) provinces in Eastern Indonesia: East Java, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), West Papua and Papua.

Purpose of Role
The PRISMA HR Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Program in human resources activities ensuring legislation and manpower act is adhered to and that resources are used in the most effective manner for both the Program and the employee. 

The PRISMA HR Manager will assist the PRISMA Senior Management Team to plan, develop, and implement HR services, programs, and activities that support the Program.

Duration
A term of12 months initially, with the possibility of extension. 

Minimum education and experience required
Essential skills and experience:
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or similar discipline;
  • >10-years’ experience in HR management positions with an organisation of similar size and scale; 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and manage recruitment processes. 
  • Proven technical knowledge of Indonesian HR laws (including income tax, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), regulations and practice. 
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and successful track record in developing staff and team members. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; 
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel; 
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Desirable skills and experience:
  • Relevant post graduate degree.
  • Affiliations with relevant professional associations
  • Experience on projects funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) 
  • Previously experience with candidate management systems (i.e. JobStreet, JobScience, etc.)
