WWF Vacancy: Monitoring and Surveillance Coordinator (MSC) - Wasior, Papua

We are the largest nature conservation NGO in Indonesia, which has started its activity since 1962. Currently, we have 28 offices, from Aceh to Papua and has a total of more than 400 staff. Since 2006, our organization supported by more than 54,000 supporters from all over the archipelago.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified, experienced candidate, who has reputable qualifications for: Monitoring and Surveillance Coordinator (MSC) based in Wasior, Papua.

Which responsible to Develop a policy-based research, provide models and expertise in monitoring and surveillance projects (SPAGS, Coral Health, Resource Utilities) in accordance with WWF Indonesia conservation strategy, in order to contribute the realization project purpose which to ensure the conservation of nature, especially in the protection of fish habitats, a sustainable utilization of fisheries resources and the preservation of coral reef in Taman Nasional Teluk Cendrawasih.

Requirements for this position:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree of Marine Sciences, Fisheries and marine biology
  • Min. 5 year work experience related to the issue of MPA in Indonesia and development of a community or groups coast
