SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization
working towards healthy and
resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. We have community based health programs in Nias,
Mentawai, Bima and Sumba. SurfAid is growing and therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven,
community oriented AREA MANAGER FOR EAST INDONESIA.
We are looking for that experienced manager with a CAN-DO attitude and
humour to lead the SurfAid program teams in Bima and Sumba to achieve the
objectives of the programs as stipulated in the program contracts. You will have
an important role in program development.
You can be based in Bali, Sumba, Bima or Jakarta, with frequent travel to
the program sites.
The Area Manager is key member of SurfAid’s Senior Management team and will
work closely together with Country Director to contribute the overall strategic
direction, development, implementation and reporting of all SurfAid East
Indonesia programs
Minimum
Qualifications;
- A minimum of 7 years experience in senior program management from development or aid sector. Your experience is more important than your formal education
- Good people management skills
- Highly developed communication skills, including writing proposal and report in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Highly Analytical, creative and pragmatic
- Creative problem solver
