The Young Leaders for Indonesia Foundation was established in 2010. The Foundation is funded in part by McKinsey & Company, which also serves as the knowledge partner, and Indonesian companies as program partners. YLI Program Director

Location: Wisma GKBI, Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav 28 Jakarta Pusat 10210
Role Type: Permanent role
Starting Date: Immediate

JOB DESCRIPTION
Program Director will lead the Young Leaders for Indonesia program with a focus to deliver high quality program and to reach the goal in broadening the program’s reach in the next 5 years. The role will include setting strategic plans, leading fundraising effort, and championing the program delivery while ensuring all is done within the foundation’s compliance practice and good governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead overall concept development and program design, planning and implementation of the YLI program
  • Champion YLI program execution, maintain high bar on quality of the program delivery including participants selection, facilitator trainings, speaker engagements and overall forums delivery
  • Develop funding strategy, drive the fundraising effort including marketing platform to secure short and long term funding
  • Manage relationship with major stakeholderrs of YLI program including educational institutions, private companies and government partners of the YLI programme
  • Develop communication platform to strengthen the YLI reputation including web base and print media
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree from a leading university
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in reputable organizations, preferably project management role in social/education sector
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Good understanding of financial, economic, and general business concepts and terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
  • Professional attitude and service orientation
  • Experience working in a foundation with human development focus would be an advantage
  • Additionally, candidates for this role should be entrepreneurial and self-starters who enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic and stimulating environment
YLI Project Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Officer is responsible for the delivery of the YLI National/Regional Program as well as supporting in YLI Foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute the delivery of YLI National/Regional roadshows and selection process of the participants
  • Lead and manage forums' preparations, covering logistics, speakers and companies follow up, etc.
  • Contribute to the program content development/improvement
  • Manage Foundation's inventory and procurement
  • Support Foundation's accounting, tax reporting, fundraising, community and communication activities
  • Liaise with external parties such as universities' officials, program partners, patrons and board members, etc
  • Coordinate the YLI patron and board member meeting on quarterly basic
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Hold Bachelor Degree, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Self-starter and demonstrate strong drive
  • Proven ability in project management
  • Has a strong ability in written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Posses analytic skills and strong attention to details
  • Possess interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relationships with a wide range of people & multiple stakeholders
  • Adaptable, demonstrate resilient working in fast pace, ambiguous environment
  • Proactive, demonstrate a strong team spirit
  • 1-2 years prior work experience is an advantage
