RECRUITMENT OF AN ASSOCIATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, ITFC
– JAKARTA OFFICE
The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), an
autonomous entity within the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB Group), is an advanced
trade financing Institution geared towards improving the economic situation and
livelihoods of people across the Islamic world. The ITFC was established in
2008, with Head Quarter in Jeddah – Saudi Arabia, to consolidate the trade
finance business that was formerly undertaken by various windows within the IDB
Group.
ITFC is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager and the
position will be based in IDB Group Gateway Office in Jakarta. Reporting
to the Head of Asia in HQ, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing
ITFC’s strategies for market penetration, expansion and deal generation in Indonesia.
Core responsibilities
include :

Developing
market intelligence on targeted sectors
and building an understanding of the major players in the Trade Finance space.

Providing
input for effective market penetration and
deal generation efforts in Indonesia for ITFC’s Trade Finance offering.

Evaluating
and conducting initial due diligence on prospective deals.
This role is intended to be closer to the market and to manage client
relationships within close proximity and oversee the end to end implementation
of the upstream investment process. This includes identifying prospective
clients, their needs, prepare deal proposals, evaluating their associated risks
and bring the proposals to Head Quarter for further due diligence and
processing. In addition, he/she will be responsible for following up on implementation
of trade finance operations based on ITFC guidelines and policies.
Educational Qualifications : Masters / Post
Graduate Degree are desirable, and
preferably MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Finance or
International Business/Trade
Language Skills : English is
mandatory. Other languages of the IDB ( Arabic and French) is an additional advantage.
Years of Experience : Between 5 years to 9 years
of relevant experience in banking and finance.
Nature of Experience :
o Prior experience in a Corporate Banking Set up,
preferably with Trade Finance Products
o
Prior
experience in an Islamic Banking Setup is an advantage
o
Understanding
of Credit and Credit Analysis skills is an advantage
o
Prior experience in international trade/cooperation/relations
