Coral Triangle Center Vacancy: Marketing & Philanthropy Manager - Bali, Indonesia

The Coral Triangle Center is a foundation registered in Indonesia that trains marine resource managers and educates all groups that interact with coastlines and reefs within the Coral Triangle. With a focus on training and enabling local communities, the CTC supports marine protected areas, coordinates a learning network for MPA practitioners, connects the public and private sector on coastal issues, and is developing a learning center of excellence in tropical marine resources management. CTC continues to develop a unique and integrated learning program by doing based on the needs of professionals and stakeholders to manage their marine natural resources.

The applied training and learning programs are adaptive, innovative and customized to abate threats, address contraints and promote sustainable practices.

We are now hiring:

Marketing & Philanthropy Manager

Marketing & Philanthropy Manager will possess the following qualifications:
  • MA (or equal Degree), in Communications and Media and / or Business Administration with at least a proven 10-year experience in major capital campaigns preferably in Conservation / Environment area; 
  • An extensive network of donors, supporters, public and private sector / corporations; 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English; 
  • Strong social, communications, people and organization skills; 
  • Demonstrated professional track record  with using social media and other means of social marketing; 
  • Experience in organizing events and facilitating workshops; 
  • Experience  in community outreach and development of outreach materials; 
  • Flexible to changing situations and priorities; 
  • Demonstrated good performance in strategic planning, partner relationships and willingness to work overtime, when needed; 
  • Affinity with marine natural resources management issues preferred.
Marketing & Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for the following:  
  • Lead the capital campaign for the development of the CTC Regional Hub and assist the Executive Director to formulate and implement strategies for fundraising for the CTC foundation programs; 
  • Develop and implement communications, marketing, branding and media strategy for CTC and help to identify and deliver stories on CTC programs and develop outreach and marketing materials for all CTC five strategies, this would include but not limited to the production of fundraising collaterals, monthly newsletters, quarterly and annual reports and all other communication materials including press releases and information kits; 
  • Development and implement a targeted outreach strategy across the CTC programs and help organize CTC special events to raise awareness and engage members, supporters, donors, partners, volunteers, community and other CTC stakeholders to participate in CTC conservation efforts. 
The position is based at CTC office in Bali. It requires some evening and weekend work to achieve program goals and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines; travel maybe required at short notice and possibly to remote and distant locations.
