WWF Vacancy: Fisheries Business Officer (FBOM) based in Maluku

We are the largest nature conservation NGO in Indonesia, which has started its activity since 1962. Currently, we have 28 offices, from Aceh to Papua and has a total of more than 400 staff. Since 2006, our organization supported by more than 54,000 supporters from all over the archipelago.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified, experienced candidate, who has reputable qualifications for: Fisheries Business Officer (FBOM) based in Maluku.

Which Responsible to ensure the significant contribution of WWF Indonesia towards the reduction of ecological footprint with providing technical support to the related parties, namely: Local Government, the Forum Island, Local Institution, Ecotourism Business Institution, Fisheries Business, Tertiary Institution in order to develop and enhance the active role of fisheries sustainability corporate sector and responsible for marine resource conservation agenda based on region and species in Indonesia in the region of Inner Banda to correspond with the strategic plan of WWF-Indonesia.

Requirements for this position :
  • Bachelor degree from Marine and/or Fisheries Science, Biology, Environmental Study, or Economic Social or Agribusiness. 
  • 2 years experiences in market research, and handling fisheries data, facilitating fishery business and aquaculture, and working with community, and NGOs.
  • Good Analytical skills (collecting data, research), Management skills, and also fisheries knowledge.
