KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), still the second most deadly infectious disease in the world. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation has a strong reputation in national and international TB control. KNCV is an international center of expertise for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context.  We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including doctors, researchers, training experts, nurses and epidemiologists. We aim to stop the spread of the worldwide epidemic of TB and to prevent the further spread of drug-resistant TB. As a non-profit international organization, KNCV is active in over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. The central office is located in The Hague, The Netherlands.  KNCV Indonesia consists of a dynamic team of over 90 staff members working in 10 provinces in Indonesia, all to help combat tuberculosis in Indonesia in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

Challenge TBKNCV is the lead partner in Challenge TB (CTB), the new USAID-funded 5-year global program to decrease TB mortality and morbidity in high burdened countries. We lead an international consortium with eight partner organizations: American Thoracic Society (ATS), Family Health International (FHI 360), Interactive Research & Development (IRD), Japanese Anti Tuberculosis Foundation (JATA), Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), and the World Health Organization.  The overarching strategic objectives of Challenge TB are to improve access to quality patient centered care for TB, TB/HIV, and MDR-TB services; to prevent transmission and disease progression; and to strengthen TB platforms.

Major Responsibilities:1.    Systems Analyst
  • Plan, design, develop and launch effective information systems and operation systems in support of core organizational functions; 
  • Analyze program requirements for a specified task and develop the methods to provide the appropriate solutions;
2.    System Administrator
  • Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems; 
  • Secure system by developing system access, monitoring control, and evaluation; establish and test disaster recovery policies and procedures; complete back-ups;
  • Upgrade system by developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software;
3.    Network Administrator
  • Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software and communication links. 
  • Analyzing and resolving end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required; as well as developing and implementing network system and user security requirements;
  • Assist in analyzing network workload, monitoring performance and diagnosing problems;
4.    Database Administrator
  • Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements, including to generate models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones; 
  • Analyze output products and debug source code to isolate and correct errors in program logic, syntax, and data entry, and data entry, and to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement security techniques designed to preclude unauthorized access to computer data and to reduce computing resource misuse;
5.    Web Developer
  • Coordinate the planning, maintenance and accessibility of the website content in a way that ensures consistency of the website’s look and feel; 
  • Integrate sites with back end applications, migrating legacy applications to the web; 
  • Perform day-to-day administration of the organization’s web portfolio
Qualifications and competencies: 
  • University degree in Information Technology 
  • At least 5 years experience in ICT technical services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology & networks 
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or other similar system.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills, in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues 
  • Ability to create a supportive working environment amongst all staff 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Motivated, pro active and willing to teach and learn
