Programme Assistant (PA) for a Technical Assistance Programme

“Increasing trade capacities of selected value chains within the fisheries sector in Indonesia”

The SECO funded, UNIDO executed programme seeks to appoint a Programme Assistant (PA) to support its implementation and coordination in Indonesia. This Programme aims at strengthening the trade capacity of selected value chains of the Indonesian fisheries export sector, while ensuring the preservation of biodiversity through promoting the sustainable use of maritime resources. The main duties for this position include the following:

Programme and Financial Administration, Reporting, Visibility
  • Coordination and administrative organization of all programme related activities as per workplan (including maintenance of appropriate documentation).
  • Office management and daily organization of the programme office.
  • Programme co-ordination and logistics support, including organization of workshops and any kind of meetings, training activities in the field, seminars, etc
  • Maintenance of financial records and assistance in the preparation of financial and progress reporting
  • Assistance in drafting and proof reading visibility materials.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of secondary degree. University degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field would be an asset. 
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in providing administrative support, preferably in a technical assistance or development context. Knowledge and experience with UN constituents and knowledge of UN procedures and financial aspects would be an asset.
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
