Communication Programs (JHU.CCP), a not-for-profit human development
organization, combines the science and art of strategic communication to help

their communities. Johns Hopkins
established CCP over 20 years ago in recognition of the pivotal role communication
plays in the way people think and behave about health and development
issues. As a leading international
authority on public health, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is dedicated to protecting health and saving lives. The mission of JHU.CCP is to use its core strengths —strategic behavior change,
knowledge management, advocacy, capacity building and research and evaluation —
to achieve these goals. We are currently
seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant in Jakarta.
Project Description:The “My
Choice” project is a two-and-a-half year project funded by the Bill &
Melinda Gates Foundation. It is designed
to contribute to the Government of Indonesia’s family planning goal to increase
the nation’s mCPR (modern Contraceptive Prevalence Rate) by addressing barriers
to supply and demand issues in 11selected districts. The project is in the process of building its
team and is looking forward for a team player and motivated individual to fill
this position.
General Position
Description: The AdministrativeAssistantwill perform a wide range of
administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient
operation of the organization. S/He will
be responsible for answering, screening and transferring inbound phone calls and
receiving and directing visitors and clients. S/He will be responsible for supporting
the coordination and oversight of logistics, procurement and general office
administration activities and systems related to the functioning of the JHU.CCPIndonesia Field Officeto ensure uninterrupted the day-to-day operations within the organization. Will work with in-country personnel to serve
and assist with the planning logistics and management of meetings, workshops,
training, scheduling and confirmation of appointments, and conduct staff travel
arrangement. Maintainsand update records of all administrative related documents,
responsible for physical inventory of non-expendable equipment, responsible for
procurement support for in-country office, such as, office supplies, equipment
maintenance, and manage local procurement in accordance with the office policy
and regulation, including oversight of all bids and billings as appropriate.Work with others in a team environment, and other relevant duties as
assigned.
Minimum
qualifications: D3 degree in administration or related field and five years of relevant
experience in the field of management or administrative.
Experience working with an INGO is preferable. Requires highly detail-oriented
individual capable of working in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment;
must have the ability to work independently; must be able to multi-tasks and
prioritize; ability to communicate and write in English, and have good
knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
